The Colour Trial Specimen was designed by Bacon/Wheeler. London. England.
It was the pre-cursor for all One Pound General Issue Banknotes. Circa 1880-1889. Best described as Extremely Rare.
After this time leading into 1908, all banknotes changed in colour, dimensions & paper type.
Historical Notation: The banknote we offer is rarely seen as a Colour Trial Specimen.
