Soft Cover Book Australian Shinplaster & Calabash Banknotes

A wonderful introduction to this part of Australian currency created more by design than need, termed Calabash and Shinplaster banknotes in the 19^th century.

Made up of promissory notes, colonial currency 18^th century, cheques. Pictorial additions all in black and white and historical details were obtained from prestigious institutions including The Mitchell Library, ANL Canberra and he Art Gallery of South Australia.
